La Storia and Luna

Greetings!
I've been extremely busy helping out down at the Corkscrew (and getting married), but I think that things will be "normal" for me in another month or two.
In the meantime, I tried and outstanding wine last week that I thought you'd want to know about.
It is from La Storia (or Trentadue) called Cuvee 32, and it's a blend of Cab Sauv, Merlot and Sangiovese. I thought it was really rich and layered with great balance, and that it would sell for around $60. I'm happy to tell you that it's far less than that. The regular shelf price on this wine is $41, but I can get it to you through Houston Wine Merchant for $35 and the Corkscrew for $31.
If you'd like some if this, just let me know and I'll get your order placed.

Also, in a recent tasting, Luna Vineyards merlot scored quite well against some big-name wineries. I don't have the tasting notes, but here are some of the results:
LUNA - 91 points - $33
Pahlmeyer - 91 points - $90
Joseph Phelps - 91 points - $40
Schafer - 91 points - $41
Duckhorn - 90 points - $85
Selene - 90 points - $45

If you'd like me to order you some of the Luna, just let me know and I'll place your order. (HWM - $34 / CORKSCREW - 30)

As always, thanks for your time, and enjoy your wine.
Cheers,
Chuck
